Major Award
The major award is the festival statuette, which is sculptured by Michael Mandelc. It is cast in bronze and depicts Henry Lawson’s famous poem “The Drovers Wife”. Judges
Denise Yates and I will be co-judging all categories of the competition on Saturday June 2, 2012, in Grenfell. Denise and I are Accredited Members of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography AIPP.
Enter and Visit
I highly encourage photographers to enter the competition and visit Grenfell for the exhibition. The exhibition will be located at 117 Main Street, Grenfell. I won the festival statuette in 2008 and I'm continually inspired and motivated by being involved in this great arts festival.
Travel Photography Workshop
As part of the festival, I will be conducting the 2012 Grenfell Festival Travel Photography Workshop. The workshop will be held on Saturday June 9, 2012 at 8.30-11.30am. Places are limited to 10, so be quick to secure your place. See the Workshops page on this site for further information.
