“The Surf Coast – it beckons bottle-blonde surfers from around the globe. The surf at Jan Juc on a Tuesday afternoon is more likely to see local school kids and tradesmen taking to the waves. With utes in the carpark and bikes chained to a post – the guys and sheilas are feverishly donning wetsuits and waxing their boards. Then, every so often the cream rises to the top, and a standout surfer catches the eye. Legs apart, hair flying, and ridin’ the wave. Just awesome.” – Darren Stones
