Enjoyed a terrific day trip to Torquay along the Surf Coast in Victoria during the week. The weather was great earlier in the week, so I decided to photograph some surfing action at Jan Juc, which is one of my favourite photography locations.
It was a fabulous day with the sun shining, and during the last few hours of daylight the surfers came out to play.

It is good challenge photographing surfers as they cut their way through the waves. I also enjoy photographing surfers as they come out of the water with their hair wet and ruffled and carrying their board under the arm.

It was a good day out along the Surf Coast. In regard to technique, you do have to be patient and it's best to concentrate on photographing the more talented surfers as they will help you to create better action shots.
